The covered item limit is $5,000. American Home Shield will cover up to $1,000 should the Pro need to cut through concrete to access any system components.

All 3 of our home warranty plans include ductwork coverage for leaks or breaks in plenums, dampers, damper-only control, and leaks or breaks in the ductwork from air conditioning or heating systems, subject to your $5,000 coverage limit per system and plan limitations and exclusions. Our standard home warranty contract term is 1 year and renews for additional 1-year terms unless canceled. You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. You will not be charged until your coverage begins at the 30-day mark.
If we can’t fix your ductwork, we’ll replace it subject to your plan’s limitations and exclusions. We’ll also cover the cost to remove the defective ductwork.
